[ ...il 12 maggio 1967, in un appening
al Queen Elizabeth Hall denominato "Games for May" si sperimentò
un sistema quadrifonico innovativo grazie al quale il suono veniva
diffuso intorno alla sala a 360° dando al pubblico la senzazione
di essere al centro dello spettacolo. Tra proiezioni psichedeliche e diapositive al fosforo, mercurio e vernice, fu presentato in anteprima il
singolo dei Pink Floyd "Games for May" che venne poi pubblicato con il
titolo "See Emily Play"...
...the Games for May concert, which took place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on May 12th 1967, was one of the first significant concert events. It was described as a "Space age relaxation for the climax of spring - electronic composition, colour and image projection and girls". The show included a primitive "surround sound" mixer, consisting of a joystick linked to an organ and effects, would could be used to move sounds around the auditorium.... ]
